DBPLUS partner – webtelligence IT consulting GmbH as a speaker and exhibitor at the mbuf

It is one of the highlights within the German IT industry: the regularly held mbuf annual conference . Both members, partners and Microsoft Deutschland will be informed about numerous topics such as cloud computing, collaboration and Dynamics in the form of specialist lectures and the integrated trade fair.

Practical examples make the approach tangible
In his specialist lecture scheduled for May 16, 2017, the experienced IT consultant, senior architect and Managing Director of Webtelligence IT consulting, Michael Roedeske, will present concrete examples of how database management and the optimization of performance can look in practice. He explains, among other things, what causes performance breakdowns in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, where the causes lie and which countermeasures are most effective. It also addresses the question of how to determine the most important among thousands of SQL queries. In practice, database performance experts have further questions: What query execution plans have been available in the past? Which of them was the best? What queries were run for the first time this day? Are they potentially responsible for performance issues?

Michael Roedeske will demonstrate how optimized performance can be achieved with a reduced use of resources – and thus savings in terms of high licensing costs. As a solution, the expert presents the DBPLUS Performance Monitor software as well as the DBPLUS services “Performance on Demand” and “Performance Management”. Further detailed information on the product range will be available to visitors at the stand of webtelligence IT consulting GmbH in the exhibitor area.

Piotr Właziński, DBPLUS Development Director will take part in the lecture speaking about business cases of database optimization using DBPLUS Performance Monitor. He will be also present at the stand of webtelligence IT consulting GmbH during the whole event.
